On Tuesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 5,124 million. The number of lots traded was 21.85 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,493. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 4,201 million followed by crude (PKR 851.92 million), silver (PKR 67.88 million) and cotton (PKR 3.25 million).
